Berkeley Film Festival
Berkeley Film Festival Mission Statement
BFF’s mission is to nurture, sustain and preserve the thriving local film community while attracting the next generation of filmmakers. The BFF focuses on supporting social, historical and innovative documentary and dramatic works. Building a wider Bay Area film community is important for the foundation to grow and succeed and reach more people thru the power of film.
What is the BFF?
The BFF is a grants organization and not a film festival but check out our winners tab to see clips of our grant winning filmmakers throughout the years.
Anecdotes for BFF
Earlier this year we had an evening with Robert Reich and showed clips from the film in which he was featured: Inequality For All. The event was great and informal and Reich just started taking general questions from the audience. He’s a great orator and the audience held on to his every word!
