Happy New Year!

Starting the year off right traditionally comes with making some new years resolutions!  Most, if not all, want to improve their health in some way.  Whether it is by getting a gym membership(which typically lasts for about a month, been there) or to change their diet in some form or another. I have kept up those traditions with a few resolutions of my own.  First, I am starting this blog to showcase my food and recipes, from near and far, as I will visit farmers markets, restaurants and food events along way.  I hope you continue to visit with me about living a conscious, sustainable and organic vegan lifestyle.  Second, I am committed to sharing my thoughts along with my food with you.  Choosing to eat without animal products is not only a thoughtful choice, it is also a healthy one.  With the increased numbers of deaths each year due to cancers, heart disease, and such, it raises a red flag for me "What do each of these people have in common?"  and the answer is simple..... food,  more specific diet.  This is not breaking news, in fact, there are lots of research and books dedicated to inform us that with a proper diet and exercise most of these cancers and diseases can be eliminated and even reversed. So it is not too late to change your diet or the diet of someone who you care about.  My job, my passion is food and cooking delicious food is what I know.  As the years go by I will post recipes that are not only easy to recreate at home but that are also very tasty as well as healthy.  I want wish everyone a happy healthy new year!
