If you are what you eat.....

What am I?

Today I am a bowl full of vibrant fruits.  A sweet and tart strawberry that can stand up for what it believes.  Vibrant red and full of fire and can hold its own among all the others.   I am a solid banana that yields to no flavor.  It is unbending in its virtues but sweet in its existence.  I am a peach with a side of fuzz.  I am a warm and snuggly with a squishiness about me.  I can succumb to you but you will succumb to my delicate juiciness.

I am a bowl of raw nut granola.  I am a dancer of strength.  I am a medley of moods from heavy to light.  I am delicate like the cashew and bold like a pecan.  I am solid like an almond.  I am the surprise of the date.  I am the cinnamon with its zeal.

I am a quinoa, nut and lentil burger. A little bit nutty with an edge of crispness.  I can hold myself together and I can fall apart.

I am a salad with its romaine and heirloom tomatoes, pea shoots and Cherry tomatoes, avocado, garbanzos and pine nuts.  I am freshness and fun.  I am the Garbanzo's with their tender skins and Cherry tomatoes with their thick skins but tenders hearts.  I am a pea shoot with its vibrancy always reaching for the stars.  I am a foundation like romaine.  I am playful like a pinenut with its expensive taste.

I am the earth and the air.  I am water and life!

We are excited to announce we are in the early stages of establishing Sanctuary, a fine dining, vegan bistro in the East Bay area scheduled to open this Fall. By creating a sustainable Bistro that is healthy for the planet, the environment and all living beings we create a sanctuary - a beautiful space to find peace while enjoying local, organic, healthy, vegan food with a farm to table philosophy. Our Bistro will be a warm, natural, organic location to enjoy with loved ones, family, and friends. Sanctuary will cater to those who want to make positive change in their lives. It’s not just for those who embrace the vegan lifestyle, but also for those who want to reduce their carbon footprint, eat with more compassion, or simply want a healthful option when going out. We will bring local produce into gourmet, organic, vegan cuisine in a conscientious and thoughtful way.
