Day 11: Decadent Vegan and Gluten-free holiday recipes: Ground Tempeh

This is an easy ground tempeh recipe that you can use to substitute for the ground meat in all of your family recipes.  A delicious way to begin converting your recipes.  We made our ground tempeh into burritos but anything goes.  I can picture casseroles, stuffed peppers, Fajitas, chili, tacos, lasagna and so much more. hmmmm.... Day 11:
Ground Tempeh
2T olive oil1 medium onion, small diced2/3 cup red wine, vegan16oz Tempeh2T ketchup4T nutritional yeast1T Earth Balance6T Worcestershire sauce, vegan2T Dijon mustard1/2 tsp white pepper2T GF Tamari

Salt and Pepper to taste

1. Add 2T olive oil to a pan and warm up.  Add the onions and cook about 2 minutes until translucent and begin to brown.  Add the red wine and cook for about 10 minutes to let the red wine cook down about 1/3 of the way.2. In a food processor: Break up the tempeh into small chunks about 1-2".  Add all of the ingredients and pulse until the consistency of ground meat.3. Place the ingredients back into the pan.  Cook at Medium to low heat.  Cook until you achieve a light browning.

2.  Place all of the ingredients into a food processor.
