Book Review: Here Comes Valentine Cat by Deborah Underwood
I have had the pleasure of meeting Deborah Underwood at the Stanford Inn as she did a book reading of The Christmas Quiet Book for kids of all ages. It was amazing. I loved the connection that you can make in the moments of the book. It is a gliding kind of quiet. We started talking and I learned that not only was she an amazing author but she was vegan. VEGAN! I was so excited. I have been a mega fan ever since.Valentine's Day is coming up and I had the pleasure of getting a mock up of the Valentine Cat. It is the story of a cat and dog. Cat HATES Valentine's day. He does not want to make a Valentine at all and he really wishes that dog WOULD LEAVE him alone. Dog is so frustrating because he keeps throwing his bones over the fence at cat. This book is a great book for teaching children (and adults) about not judging a situation or another being. You will be heart-warmed by this story and dog will set your heart soaring.Support this amazing author. You can get her books at local independent books stores. Which she would LOVE or for those that are time challenged you can buy Valentine Cat here.
