Bay Area Bartering

Our new years resolution is to continue to become a better Sanctuary Bistro. We listen to feedback and improve and although we can't do every suggestion that we get we want to make sure that you know we hear you, the good and the areas of improvement.  We love open dialogue especially when coming from a place of kindness.  It is honest and true.  We are thoughtful in our choices and we make sure that each change we make fits in with our bigger picture vision for Sanctuary Bistro. We are a small family business funding this ourselves with one small loan from an amazing friend and we are so excited to have come so far - thanks to you.  We are determined to do a lot with a little.  We want to make amazing food, develop and amazing community and support and give back to the community.In 2016, I have big plans for Sanctuary Bistro and we need your help.  The barter system is an old method of exchange. Th is system has been used for centuries and long before money was invented. People exchanged services and goods for other services and goods in return.  We are hoping that we could Barter with you to help us make some improvements.

  • Electrical Work
    • Fix the light in the Mens/ADA/Family bathroom (you walk in and its like your tripping with a shimmering light)
    • Add lighting to our signs outside (We are not visible at night)
  • Floors
    •  Bathrooms - Lay new linoleum
    •  Lay fresh carpet in the hall
  • Architectural Drawings
    • We are looking to get permitted for outdoor seating with a covered space with heating. We would need drawings to get approved and to create it.
  • Carpentry
    • Add a beautiful bar top at the office area
    • Recreate the shelving so it works better for an office
    • Turn the lights over the bar into cool cabinet
  • Heating
    • Create a better heating solution in the restaurant.
    • Keeping cold air out when the doors are opened.
