1. What/who is flow kana and what do you do?
Flow Kana is a company that has created the first farm-to-table model in the cannabis industry. Our platform allows patients to connect directly with, and buy directly from, small, local farmers that only grow 100% organic, 100% sun grown, connoisseur-grade cannabis.
2. What is the mission of flow kana?
Our mission is to create more transparency in the industry and help ensure that this amazing plant stays in the hands of small, sustainable farmers as the industry continues to mature.
3. What are the political changes that people should be looking out for or that they could be voting for and why?
2016 is right around the corner. Legalization will be a big step in the right direction but people should pay close attention to how the proposed legislation is written. We, as Californians, need to make it known that we want laws that will support the viability of our small farmers, rather than laws that will support a small group of large, conglomerates.
4. Why is it important?
Patients have no idea how their cannabis is being grown. Toxic chemicals and pesticides are rampant in the growing process. Environmental degradation and unsustainable energy use is prevalent (it's estimated that indoor cannabis grow operations account for up to 9% of total electricity used in CA and 1% of total energy used nation-wide).

Flow Kana's mission is to support the small farming community and to provide patients with healthy, organic medicine.
